#1 Former WWE star Gillberg as a Ninja Turtle
Wrestling is really weird sometimes. It was even weirder in the '90s thanks to over-the-top gimmicks such as Doink the Clown and The Gobbledy Gooker, just to name a few. Before parodying WCW's Bill Golberg, Duane "Gillberg" Gill worked in WWE as an enhancement talent.
He was required to put over the stars and look silly when he was needed to. It didn't get any sillier than him and a wrestler called Barry Hardy dressing up as turtles during a match in WWE in the early nineties. When WWE.com asked Gillberg about it, the former stated:
Meet John Cena's dad HERE
I used to do anything I could to wrestle. I mean anything. I didn't care. I had the outfits made, because I was trying to find different ways to work more. [Barry Hardy and I competed as] The Executioners, and we also did Barry Hardy & Dwayne Gill, so we could work a whole bunch. Then I said, "Let's both get these outfits made and maybe we'll get a job like that.”
This time, the costume wasn't designed for Halloween. Thankfully, it wasn't permanent as Gillberg went on to have a better career as a cheap copy of Goldberg.
