Now that the company has fed Elias to Edge at SummerSlam 2019, why not go all the way with the angle and turn this into a mini return feud for Edge?

Elias has done nothing noteworthy on the main roster in ages. His fans have become tired of the fact that Superstars from the past occasionally return and bury him in the process.

It happened at WrestleMania 35 with John Cena, with The Undertaker on Raw, and now with Edge at SummerSlam.

How about Elias comes back and takes a stand for once, and calls out Edge for his attack? This could be a good way to provide a boost to his waning career.

A win over a multiple-time World Champion and a Hall of Famer could be the exact thing Elias needs at this point in his WWE run.

How about a blast from the past?

Randy Orton and Edge have tons of history together. Back in 2006, the two Superstars paired up and formed Rated RKO. The short-lived tandem feuded with D-generation X, and lost a traditional Survivor Series 5-on-5 match to them. Years later, Edge and Orton got into a mini feud that ended with a Double Countout at Over The Limit 2010.

A reference could be made to this feud from the past, as Edge lambasts Orton for still being the cold-hearted, selfish villain he once was, while Edge made his peace with everyone that he wronged and turned into a good guy.

These two were the top villains of WWE at one point in time. A one-off match between Orton and Edge could settle the score once and for all, as to who's the best among the two.
