While it would be tempting to include Seth Rollins on this list for obvious reasons, the man that could be a great potential match for Edge would be Kevin Owens. Owens posted a very emotional tweet yesterday that showed his love for the Rated-R Superstar.

I’ll never forget sitting at home, watching his retirement speech. More importantly, I’ll remember last night even more...Standing in gorilla and getting to see Edge’s return to @WWE is genuinely a top 5 moment in my career and it didn’t even happen to me!Amazing.

While he may be involved in a feud with the Monday Night Messiah, there is still a lot of time left in 2020 and given his legitimate 'fanboy' love for Edge, a match between the two would make for exciting possibilities.

Edge is a veteran at this point in his career and while Kevin Owens has never had the best of times working with veterans...cough...Goldberg...cough, a story between the two would make for great television. Much like Owens' feud with Chris Jericho, this could be an exciting storyline of master and student facing off against each other.

Could it happen down the line? If Edge has no one else to take on and Owens could benefit from getting the rub from him, there is no reason why it couldn't happen.
