Shelton Benjamin was part of The Hurt Business on Monday Night RAW up until a few weeks ago when he was ejected from the group by WWE Champion Bobby Lashley alongside Cedric Alexander.
Shelton and Cedric Alexander have since had a brief feud on RAW, but most recently Benjamin has been demoted to appearances on Main Event. The former Tag Team Champion is a veteran and deserves the chance to boost his career, something that NXT could offer him.
Benjamin is one of very few current WWE Superstars who hasn't been part of NXT, but given that he's nearing the end of his career, it could be time for the star to give back. After being around the business for several decades, Benjamin could be an asset to the NXT roster when it comes to developing the next generation.
If WWE isn't set to use Benjamin on RAW in the near future, then a move to NXT would definitely be beneficial.
