Why have two WWE part-timers in Goldberg and Cena clash against each other, you rightfully ask? The answer is simple. Both men are household names and a clash of this magnitude will definitely sell a whole bunch of tickets.

Also, when a part-timer like Goldberg goes up against Drew McIntyre, you invariably know the result.
Because it's not the classic case of a part-timer returning to WWE to put younger talent over, in this case at least, the outcome would be very hard to predict.

#1 Goldberg vs. his WWE megafan Big E
Big E cashes in on Goldberg at Summerslam, and the world rejoices. Fantasy booking? Or a possible career-defining moment?
Big E has been vocal about his love for Goldberg, someone he idolized growing up. If Big E does cash in on Goldberg, after the former beats Lashley at SummerSlam, then his childhood dream would come true.
It would also set the stage for WWE Champion Big E vs. Goldberg at some point down the line, maybe in 2022. Goldberg could return to claim that his title was unfairly taken from him by Big E. The results could be absolutely amazing.
