Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has arguably the most famous Money in the Bank cash-in in WWE history.

However, the Architect was forced to wait a significant amount of time before cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.

Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam, and Dean Ambrose to win the Money in the Bank contract at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view in 2014.

Seth Rollins teased cashing in his Money in the Bank contract several times throughout his tenure with the briefcase. However, he never officially pulled the trigger on his guaranteed WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity.

That all changed during the main event of WrestleMania 31 in 2015. Brock Lesnar was defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns, in the scheduled main event of the show.

Rollins hit Roman Reigns with a curb stomp and successfully captured the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career. This marked the first time a WWE Superstar cashed in the Money in the Bank contract while a championship match was in progress.
