#1. Shad Gaspard
Shad Gaspard sadly passed away last month, but the former Cryme Tyme member was able to prove numerous times throughout his life that he was a real hero outside of WWE, as well.
Gaspard left WWE for a second time back in 2010, but later made headlines all over the world in 2016 when it was revealed that he had stopped a Gas Station from being robbed when he body-slammed the assailant who was brandishing a gun.
The Coral Springs Police Department told TMZ the suspect "appeared to be drunk" and approached Gaspard, saying, "Hey man, buy me a beer." When Shad responded by saying, "There's a better way to ask than that," the suspect pulled out the weapon; Gaspard then pushed him against a cooler and disarmed him.
Gaspard sadly passed away last month when he and his son were out swimming, the tide swept them both out to see and whilst the rescuers reached Gaspard first, he told them to save his son before disappearing from view.
His son was later rescued but a huge search was launched to find Gaspard, who's body later washed up on shore in Venice Beach, CA. Since his passing there have been many stories released regarding the former WWE star from current and former WWE talent which prove that he was every bit the hero that he is currently being hailed as.
