It was good to see AJ Styles back on WWE programming this week on RAW? The phenomenal former WWE Champion returned to team up with Omos to take on the Dirty Dawgs consisting of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
Styles looked as good as ever, and finished off Ziggler with the Phenomenal Forearm to pick up the win for his team. The direction for him and Omos moving forward remains to be seen, but it was certainly a joy to see them competing together again.
#1 Sasha Banks and Shotzi impressed on WWE SmackDown
We have been waiting for this one-on-one match for a couple of weeks now, and we finally got it this week on SmackDown. The match was announced leading into SmackDown and the two superstars made every single second count.
Even before their match got underway, they were already exchanging words in gorilla, before putting on the best WWE TV match of the week. Shotzi worked on Sasha Banks' left arm, but The Boss managed to eventually see off the former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion.
