MVP and John Cena have never wrestled each other one-on-one

MVP, like Kofi Kingston, is another WWE Superstar who you'd just have assumed would have wrestled John Cena one-on-one at some point. After all, they were both in WWE together for quite some time.

However, MVP, who is enjoying a return run with WWE as the leader of the Hurt Business, has never actually wrestled against John Cena in a singles match in WWE.

They've been opponents in Survivor Series matches, multi-man tag team matches, battle royales and Royal Rumbles but they've never wrestled each other one-on-one.

If Cena were to return now, it could happen, although it's more likely that he'd challenge the dominant Bobby Lashley, who has grown to be a powerful WWE Champion under MVP's tutelage.
