#2 Former WWE Superstar Test was considered to be a part of D-Generation X
The list of greatest WWE factions of all-time is surely incomplete without the mention of arguably the most notorious faction in history, D-Generation X. Originally founded in 1997 by Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, and Rick Rude, D-Generation X later went on to add several new members including the likes of X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws.
Interestingly, Vince Russo had plans to add the former WWE Superstar Test as a member of DX. On an episode of "Something to Wrestle With", Bruce Prichard revealed the following:
“So [Vince Russo] envisioned Test being a part of DX early on. Hunter hated it, Shawn hated it, everybody hated it. And Russo made the comment that ‘[Test] is as big as Kevin Nash but he’s younger and he’ll be better.’ And that of course set Shawn and Hunter off — ‘he’s no Kevin Nash.'”
After the idea was nixed, Test went on to align with The Corporation and had a massive feud with DX and Triple H. A former WWE Intercontinental Champion, Test being in the DX could have either been amazing or disastrous.
