#2. Will continue to get pushed by WWE: Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns has had a career resurgence in WWE in 2020 as well, but that was due to his unexpected heel turn. We're now seeing the version of Roman Reigns that we have wanted to for years, and he's thriving as the face of SmackDown.
Roman Reigns is overdue for a long World title run, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him dominate the WWE Universal title picture throughout 2021. While WrestleMania is usually the big pay-off, Roman Reigns is in a position where he can hold the title for far longer, and WWE will benefit from it by building another long-term star.
#1. Could lose his push: Otis
The most surprising breakout star of WWE in 2020 was Otis. His romantic storyline with Mandy Rose helped him reach a new level of popularity. After defeating Dolph Ziggler in a great match at WrestleMania 36, he won the Money in the Bank briefcase.
The decision for Otis to win the briefcase, however, was questionable. There were never any concrete plans for him to win it, and when WWE realized that they backed themselves into a corner, they split up Heavy Machinery so Otis could lose the briefcase to The Miz - who failed the cash-in anyway.
Otis is now aligned with Chad Gable, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him lose his push in WWE in 2021.
