#1. Will continue to get pushed by WWE: Drew McIntyre

In our books, the WWE Superstar of the Year in 2020 shouldn't even be up for debate. Drew McIntyre was the most important WWE Superstar of 2020, and the timing of his ascent couldn't have been better. While the COVID-19 pandemic prevented him from getting the dream coronation he wanted in front of over 70,000 people, it didn't affect his momentum or confidence in any way, shape, or form.

Drew McIntyre became the face of RAW, and in effect, the face of WWE for almost all of 2020. After defeating Brock Lesnar in the main event of Night Two at WrestleMania 36, he fulfilled Vince McMahon's prophecy over a decade earlier and became the WWE Champion.

To carry WWE on his back was no easy task in itself, but to do it in the most difficult year makes it even more impressive. Even if Drew McIntyre isn't the WWE Champion for most of 2021, he is now an established main event star, and he will most likely continue to be as important to WWE programming in the next year as he is now.
