#1. WWE Legend John Cena
John Cena is arguably the greatest WWE Superstar of all time. There are only very few things the 16-time world champion has not accomplished in WWE. One of them is having a better winning record at SummerSlam.
Will John Cena beat Ric Flair's record? A former WCW Champion thinks so HERE
Cena has competed 14 times at the Biggest Party of the Summer, winning only five matches. He defeated Booker T, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and Baron Corbin in singles action. His fifth SummerSlam victory came in a 14-person tag team match in 2010.
Cena's nine defeats started against Edge at the 2006 SummerSlam. Two years later, he lost to Batista, followed by a loss to Randy Orton in 2009.
In 2011, Cena suffered his fourth SummerSlam defeat against CM Punk. Punk was also the winner when he faced Cena and The Big Show in a triple-threat match at SummerSlam in 2012.
The 16-time world champion continued his SummerSlam losing streak against Daniel Bryan in 2013. It was no different a year later as Brock Lesnar pinned him for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
At SummerSlam 2015, Cena, the then-US Champion, faced Seth Rollins, the then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion, in a Champion Vs. Champion match. The Leader of the Cenation went into the pay-per-view looking for his first win in five years. Instead, he walked out with his fifth consecutive defeat and without his US Title.
Despite suffering another loss at the 2016 SummerSlam against AJ Styles, Cena finally broke his losing streak the following year when he defeated Baron Corbin. Since then, the 44-year-old has not competed at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
Cena recently returned to WWE after a long absence. He challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at SummerSlam but was turned down by The Tribal Chief.
