The Miz's wife, Maryse Ouellet, is a former WWE Superstar herself. However, since her departure from the company in 2011, Maryse started pursuing other careers, including acting.

Maryse kicked off her acting career many years ago before joining WWE. In 1994, 11-year-old Maryse played a role in the Canadian movie Octobre. Following that movie, the former Divas Champion became a model. She also participated in the 2006 Diva Search competition to sign a contract with WWE in 2007.

The Miz's wife spent nearly four years in WWE before leaving in 2011. A year before her WWE departure, Maryse returned to acting, appearing on an episode of the Canadian TV series Musée Eden. She also appeared on another Canadian TV series, Trauma.

Following her departure from pro-wrestling, Maryse focused more on her acting career. She appeared on an episode of Unité 9, a Canadian TV series, in 2012. Starting 2015, she acted in several movies, including Isle of the Dead and Karla.

Maryse and her husband worked together on two movies produced by WWE Studios: Santa's Little Helper and The Marine 5: Battleground. The former Divas Champion's last movie appearance came in 2018. She played the role of Macy Does in the movie 'Fury of the Fist and the Golden Fleece.'
