#3 WWE Superstar Xavier Woods was mistaken for Kofi Kingston

Xavier Woods initially debuted on WWE’s main roster in November 2013 as R-Truth’s new ally. In July 2014, Woods then formed an alliance with Big E and Kofi Kingston, and the three men went on to become the hugely successful New Day group.
Writing on Twitter in December 2018, Woods told a story about what happened when he landed in Kuala Lumpur for a WWE meet and greet.
A customs agent asked The New Day member if he works for WWE. When Woods confirmed that he does, the agent questioned whether he is Kofi Kingston.
Woods said he was taken to a “shady side room” due to the agent having doubts about who he really is.
Woods currently holds the WWE RAW tag team titles with Kingston. The two men were separated from their fellow New Day member, Big E, in the 2020 WWE Draft.
Big E was selected by WWE SmackDown as the No. 17 pick, while Woods and Kingston moved to WWE RAW as the No. 16 pick.
