If the decision for Ambrose to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on the same night he won was a last minute decision, then it is all the better for the former Shield member.

Dean Ambrose is extremely over with the fans, and hopefully, a title run will help establish him as a wrestler and not just another gimmick with a belt in this company.

If WWE is serious about Ambrose as a champion – and they should be – then he needs a solid run at least until SummerSlam. If he drops the title at Battleground, then this was nothing more than the third wheel keeping the title warm while Reigns gets the slap on the hand.
