At SummerSlam 2018, Flair defeated Carmella and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat Match for the SmackDown Women's title, which ultimately gave birth to "The Man". Last year, Flair defeated Trish Stratus in a dream encounter to establish herself as the absolute best.

Brie Bella failed to win a 15-Diva’s Battle Royal at WWE SummerSlam 2009, with Beth Phoenix coming out on top. She lost singles matches to Natalya and Stephanie McMahon in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
A year later, she teamed up with Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox in a Diva’s Triple Threat Elimination Match, in a losing effort. As mentioned before, Paige, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch won the contest. This was Brie's final appearance at SummerSlam as a wrestler.
