5 WWE Superstars on the current roster who would benefit from a run in NXT

#3 Chad Gable

Gable was the star out of the former NXT Tag-Team champs

Big things were expected from American Alpha when they got called up to the main roster in 2016 as part of the WWE Draft getting selected by Smackdown and they went on to win the Smackdown Tag-Team Championships soon after.

Their reign lasted under four months after losing the titles to The Usos and never won them again. The Alpha has since broken up after Jason Jordan left to go be Kurt Angle's son (why?) and WWE doesn't seem to know what to do with the former Olympian.

The highlights of Gable's solo Smackdown run were losing in great matches to the likes of AJ Styles and Kevin Owens.

Since moving to Raw in the latest Shake-Up he managed to get a victory over Jinder Mahal only to lose to him the following week.

This is disappointing as to me Gable was the star in American Alpha but it seems WWE has bigger plans for Jordan.

I feel Gable could be a real star if given the opportunity to shine, he has Angle-esque qualities (which is why it's strange to me that he isn't in Jordan's role right now) excellent in-ring abilities and good on the mic Gable surpasses his former partner in all categories.

This is where a run in NXT could help out Gable's career, I feel a run as NXT North American champion would be perfect for the Olympic wrestler. We already know he can put on great matches and the thought of him being able to do that on a big stage against the likes of Adam Cole, Ricochet and Velveteen Dream would excite me.
