Randy Orton made a huge mistake last year when he defeated The Fiend in WWE's first-ever Firefly Inferno match. The Fiend hasn't been seen on WWE TV since, but his presence has definitely been felt. Given recent events, Bray Wyatt will likely be returning to WWE soon in some form or another.
Randy Orton's current feud has been centered around Alexa Bliss and the fact that the former Women's Champion is looking to bring back her best friend. The Fiend was expected to return weeks ago but WrestleMania is now just over 40 days away. WWE looks to be taking this one down to the wire.
It's rumored that a Firefly Fun House match could be planned between the two men, similar to last year's match between The Fiend and John Cena. There hasn't been a lot of build towards a match for the two men but the story has been consistent between Bliss and Orton.
The likely path for WWE to take this late in the game could now be for Orton to challenge The Fiend to a match and see if he appears at WrestleMania, as the company doesn't have a lot of time to bring him back with a new character.
