#4. Current WWE Superstar Sonya Deville
Sonya Deville is currently seen as an authority figure on WWE television. The former Tough Enough star has also proudly confirmed that she's a lesbian.
During Deville's audition for Tough Enough back in 2015, The Pride Fighter was asked about her relationship status. While telling the judges about her girlfriend, she inadvertently came out on national television.
At the time, Deville's revelation made her the first-ever openly gay female WWE Superstar. She went on to open up about her Tough Enough audition in an interview with The Sun.
“I felt so out of my comfort zone when they asked me that question. I thought ‘what do I do… well, tell the truth, right?’" stated Deville. "So I said, 'Yeah, I have a girlfriend, but she’s not my wife yet.' I got nervous, and they all started smiling. I said, 'oh my god, I just came out on national television.'"
Deville has since spent her WWE career raising awareness and making it clear that she is proud of her sexual orientation.
Sonya Deville also had a stint on Total Divas, where she was able to introduce the WWE Universe to her then-girlfriend, Ariana Johnson.
