Roman Reigns made his return to WWE at SummerSlam 2020 last year after the main event between "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. He took out both the superstars, even calling The Fiend a freak in a mask.

Just a week later at WWE Payback 2020, Roman Reigns won the Universal Championship from The Fiend in a triple threat match also involving Braun Strowman. However, it was Strowman who took the pin in the match. There was no proper pay-off or a feud between The Fiend and Roman Reigns, and WWE is probably saving this for a bigger stage. Could that stage be WrestleMania 38?

Originally, there were plans for these two superstars to clash at WrestleMania 36 with Roman Reigns challenging The Fiend for the Universal Championship. But the plans changed as Goldberg defeated The Fiend and then Reigns challenged him instead. Ultimately, Reigns pulled out of WrestleMania, and Braun Strowman was the one who faced and defeated Goldberg.

Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt have had a massive history even before the latter turned into The Fiend. A feud between the two on the Road to WrestleMania 38, leading to a main event match could be amazing.
