Current WWE champion and the MVP of 2016, AJ Styles was undoubtedly the star of last year. Every good thing that happened in the WWE throughout the year involved him in some way. As most know, Styles and Joe have a rich history together.

The two have had seasoned careers, paying their dues on the indy circuit. They crossed paths in Ring of Honour and in TNA, where they had multiple feuds.

Despite always being the bigger of the two (in size), it is Joe who now needs the assistance of Styles to launch his career in the WWE. The Samoan destroying the Phenomenal One on a Tuesday night would put everyone in the locker room on notice, plus it would put Joe in the mix for the WWE Championship.
