#3 Samoa Joe could return to the ring against Seth Rollins
One of the biggest adversaries of heel Seth Rollins has been Samoa Joe, despite his limited involvement in the ring since the Monday Night Messiah gimmick was born. Joe spent the start of 2020 feuding with Rollins, Murphy, and AOP, alongside primarily Kevin Owens.
This came as a result of a run-in between Joe and Seth Rollins, while the former was on commentary. The two had another intense confrontation a month ago on RAW, with Joe standing up to Rollins and Murphy for his broadcast colleague, Tom Phillips.
This animosity makes Rollins the ideal opponent for Samoa Joe if he does return to the ring. The 2-time NXT Champion last wrestled in February, suffering a concussion while filming a commercial. This feud is both, likely, and unlikely at the same time.
While he may possibly be cleared to wrestle, Joe might not return to the ring any time soon due to his excellent work as a commentator. But it is entirely possible that he steps into the ring for one night only, just to inflict some punishment onto Seth Rollins. This would be a fun and satisfying way to write the Monday Night Messiah off TV.
