Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy has become a controversial character over the past month. The North Carolina native became the first wrestler in the company to be able to defeat Karrion Kross a few weeks ago, which led to some interesting backlash.
Whilst it was revealed that Hardy was forced to take some time away from WWE due to COVID-19, he has since returned and wrestled Kross once again.

Hardy was another face missing from the show and it's also worth noting that both T-Bar and Mace were also absent. As was the case with Hardy, there was no explanation for the absence of the former RETRIBUTION members either.

Hardy is a WWE veteran and whilst he doesn't have to appear on every episode of the show, he has been a main part of the red brand over the past few weeks.
Hardy's last WWE appearance came on Main Event last week, where he wrestled fellow WWE veteran Shelton Benjamin.
