Elias was teaming up with Jackson Ryker on WWE TV only a few months ago. However, when their alliance came to an abrupt end, Elias decided to ditch his Drifter character.
Since Elias made his debut in WWE, he has been seen as a guitar welding Drifter, which has allowed him to compete in several custom made matches with his instrument of choice.

In recent weeks, vignettes have been played on RAW that have claimed that "Elias is dead" and the star has been seen burning his guitar.

It's still unclear what these recent video packages mean for Elias moving forward and if the former Champion is set to undergo a drastic character change.
What is known is that there was no further development from Elias this week on RAW, and it appears that whatever part Elias was set to play in this week's show was scrapped completely.
