WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin recently spoke about having one more match in WWE. On the latest episode of The Steve Austin Show, Austin talked about people consistently asking him whether he can have another go in the ring. He added that he can definitely have another match!
And I tell them, ‘Man.’ I say, ‘You know, it’s a tough thing to think about.’ Physically, would I be able to have one more match? Yes, most definitely, and I could make it to that match without being injured.
Austin's comments are bound to take social media by storm, with fans speculating on whether The Rattlesnake will return for one more match.
In light of his recent comments, let's take a look at five Superstars Austin could face if he decides to come back for another match, and WWE lets him do so.

#5 Roman Reigns
It wouldn't be a stretch to call Roman Reigns the biggest Superstar of this generation. Over the course of the past 7 years, The Big Dog has achieved enough to warrant a first-ballot Hall of Fame induction.
On the other hand, there's Stone Cold Steve Austin, possibly the greatest WWE Superstar of all time. If Austin does come back for one final match, letting these two go at each other for 15 minutes would blow the roof off the stadium.
I mentioned a stadium 'cause there's no way this match deserves anything less than a WrestleMania spot. Just like Hogan-Rock and Rock-Cena, this would be a legit clash of generations that would end up garnering a big payday for WWE.
A true 'passing of the torch' moment, if you will, with a memorable visual of both men shaking each other's hands to cap it all off!
#4 Bray Wyatt
Recently, Stone Cold Steve Austin moderated the contract signing for the Universal title match between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions. Bray Wyatt took to Twitter and teased a big confrontation with Stone Cold.
'A rattlesnakes skins’ the same color as the leaves, she said. You gotta get them before they get you.' - Sister Abigail
Hopes were raised to an unimaginable degree, but nothing came out of this. Austin ended up stunning AJ Styles on two separate occasions that night, and fans didn't get to see him face The Fiend.
Imagine if WWE lets Austin come back to give one of the biggest rubs of all time, to The Fiend! All it would need is for Austin to acknowledge Wyatt's comments, and kick off the feud.

#3 AJ Styles
The Universal title contract signing between Rollins and Strowman was interrupted by The O.C. but it didn't end well for AJ Styles. He fell prey to a thunderous Stunner from The Rattlesnake. Things didn't end here though. Austin lured Styles in after the show and hit another Stunner on him.
The story is there and all it needs is for Austin to get cleared to wrestle one more match. Styles is someone who can get a good match out of almost anyone, and this bout could possibly be the best out of this list, if WWE lets these two men go at it on a major PPV.
#2 Brock Lesnar
Thanks to Austin's injury, we never got to see him wrestle Brock Lesnar back in 2004. Austin had previously refused to wrestle Lesnar on an episode of RAW in 2002, as he didn't like that there wasn't any buildup to the match. At WrestleMania 20, Austin hit a Stunner on Lesnar, in what was Lesnar's last match in WWE before returning a few years later.
We did see a quick back and forth between the two on the road to WrestleMania 20, on an episode of SmackDown. It ended with Lesnar being busted open by Austin. If Austin is fit enough for another match, why not set this legit dream encounter for, let's say, a Saudi Arabia event, and let the crowd go wild!

#1 Kevin Owens
There can't be a bigger 'passing of the torch' scenario at the moment than we have with Kevin Owens and Stone Cold. WWE is trying to push Owens as this generation's Austin, and Owens even uses the Stunner as his own finisher now. Nothing would make more sense here than letting these two face off in the ring, if Austin gets cleared.
With Owens as a babyface, he would need to ask Austin respectfully for a match, to see whether he is capable enough to take the mantle and become this generation's Austin. Upon Austin's agreement, the two would face off at a major PPV, say, WrestleMania 36.
Owens defeating Austin and then sharing a beer with him in the end would be as perfect a rub as The Rattlesnake could give to Owens.
