#4 Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens
Much of the Attitude Era saw Stone Cold Steve Austin hitting opponents in WWE left and right with Stone Cold Stunner. On the current roster, Kevin Owens has taken the responsibility of doing the same with down-on-their-luck heels such as Baron Corbin and over-enthusiastic celebrities such as Logan Paul.
Even without his use of Stunner, Owens retains in spades the most vital ingredient of success during the most chaotic period in WWE history: unpredictability. His anti-hero character would have resonated with the audience, or he could have transformed into a full-blown heel, terrifying opponents and audience alike with his vicious antics and dominance in the ring.
#3 Former WWE Champion The Miz
When it comes to the ability to manipulate the audience to his advantage, The Miz is one of the best WWE superstars to do just that. This ability would have made him a surefire success in The Attitude Era when the audience was more energetic than ever. The Miz works best as a cowardly yet dangerous villain, and he could have played the audience to his tunes time after time on Monday Night RAW.
The Miz is, yet again, one of the best WWE superstars in another aspect: meta promos that merge the real and the gimmick. Promo wars with the likes of The Rock, Steve Austin and Chris Jericho would have been iconic, with fans clamoring for the inevitable beatdown of The Miz at the hands of their favorite faces.
