Orton was riding his motorcycle near his home when a car suddenly veered into his lane and forced him to make a wide turn in desperation. He was thrown off his bike and hit the ground hard, immediately falling unconscious.
When I came to, I knew I had rebroken my collarbone. When the police and fireman got there, they asked me 'Where's the guy who was in the wreck?' and I said 'It was me.'

Orton also stated that if it hadn't been for his helmet, he would have been dead.
Without a helmet, I would be dead. Now that I have a newborn daughter, so much was going through my head.
While riding, the WWE Superstar was wearing a sweatshirt and shorts and the fall resulted in a broken collarbone. The injuries weren't serious though and he soon went back to entertaining fans on WWE TV.
