Seth Rollins and Cesaro were most recently seen as rivals on WWE TV, but outside of the company, they are close friends.
The two men were once travel buddies and enjoyed the opportunity to work together last year. The Swiss Superman is yet to appear on TV since his loss to Sheamus and Ridge Holland back at WWE Day 1.

Rollins has a way of helping any superstar reach their potential in the company and since Cesaro has his own issues with Roman Reigns, he could be the ideal backup.
Cesaro and Reigns collided at WrestleMania Backlash when The Swiss Superman looked to win the Universal Championship, but like many others before him, he came up short. After the match, The Usos attacked Cesaro before Rollins ambushed the latter.
At present, several superstars have nothing to do on WWE TV and Cesaro would jump at the chance of working with his long-time friend once more.
