Hopefully she can make the turn for the better upon her return from injury.

We start this list with a lady who should, for all intents and purposes, be sitting atop the women's division right now. Emma brought her Australian style to the States after working with Lance Storm in the early 2000's.
She eventually made her way to Shimmer, which is regarded by many as the top women's promotion in the land, which is where she really made herself known as a bona-fide star in women's wrestling.

In 2011, Emma inked a developmental deal with WWE and quickly became a fan favorite. Upon arriving on the main roster, things looked great for her future. Unfortunately, there was an incident in 2014, where she was accused of stealing an iPad case from a Walmart store in Connecticut.
Emma claims it was merely an oversight and she planned on paying for the item. The charge was eventually dismissed, but Emma has yet to be fully redeemed in the eyes of WWE creative.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Emma fan. In fact, I believe she can be a dominate and VERY entertaining Womens Champion. However, I just don't have faith in the company to give her the push she rightfully deserves.
Emma is currently rehabbing a back injury, but is expected back soon. Unless something drastic changes between now and next spring, don't be surprised to see her name listed with a group of released talents, during next year's cattle call.

Jonathan Carpenter is a pro wrestling journalist at Sportskeeda. After obtaining a degree in political science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he started writing WWE articles in 2016. Jonathan believes integrity is vital in journalism and ensures his work is high on accuracy. He conducts in-depth research and verifies information from various sources before curating a feature.
Jonathan has engaged in many meaningful conversations with prominent pro wrestling personalities like Drew McIntyre and DDP. He grew up in Memphis, admiring Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan during WWE’s Golden Era in the ‘80s. He has attended many pro wrestling events and credits The Hulkster for making his childhood memorable.
Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
