Will Mickie ever get the chance to rectify her SummerSlam record?

Like Trish Stratus, Mickie James never had a marquee match at SummerSlam, which is a reflection of how Women’s wrestling was viewed during their era. However, Mickie did make more appearances than Trish at the event, although she also has a zero win percentage at SummerSlam.

Mickie made three appearances in total, two of which were in battle royal matches, including one on the pre-show.

But her biggest match at SummerSlam came in 2008 when she teamed with Kofi Kingston to defend their respective WWE Women’s and Intercontinental Championships against Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella.

As I am sure you will have worked out by now, she lost this match. Mickie’s last SummerSlam appearance came in 2009 and, although she has recently returned to the company, it looks unlikely that she will be featured on the upcoming event on August 20th.
