Could The Fiend be going after Jeff Hardy on SmackDown?

Since his return to Smackdown earlier this year following an injury, Jeff Hardy has been involved in feuds against Sheamus, AJ Styles and King Corbin. At the moment, the Superstar is being hounded by Sami Zayn over who is the true WWE Intercontintal Champion. However, Hardy has revealed he would like to face The Fiend in the future.

In an recent interview, the performer discussed bringing his alter-ego Willow to WWE to challenge The Fiend on Smackdown. Willow was a mysterious persona that Hardy used during his days in IMPACT! Wrestling.

Hardy isn't a past rival of Wyatt like other members of this list, but there is history with his brother, Matt. As The Fiend is now unable to target his former tag team partner since his departure from WWE, he could go after Jeff to gain his own form of vengeance.

Pitting Hardy against The Fiend could allow him to turn a new corner by introducing Willow to the WWE Universe. Seeing the two personas go head-to-head, especially in a cinematic match, could be very interesting.
