Sheamus joined the WWE main roster in 2009, nearly 20 years after the Deadman, so it may come as a surprise to many that these two have squared off.

Meeting in the Summer of 2010, the Celtic Warrior was riding high after winning his second WWE Championship, though faced a monumental obstacle on the dark match after the 900th edition of RAW.

Meeting both the Deadman and John Cena, in a steel cage no less, it seemed that the Champion was sure to fall to the two established legends.

Fortunately for the future Bar member, Sheamus was in the right place at the right time.

With Cena locked in the Phenom's Hell's Gate submission, the Irishman scrambled to the door to escape.
