#2 Roman Reigns

A lot of people may not agree with this name on the list, given that Roman Reigns has already main evented many pay-per-views and won feuds against some top names. His involvement in almost every main event angle, after The Shield was disbanded, was a huge reason behind the hate he got from the WWE Universe. But, despite being involved in the main event picture on a regular basis after, Roman Reigns is yet to have a long title run.

The company, in a very smart and controversial move, got the WWE title off the Fiend and got some real heat against Goldberg, who is all set to defend the title against Roman at the show of shows. Roman Reigns is expected to win the match and thus the title.

This time around, WWE may be planning to give Reigns a longer reign as a champion, something that hasn't happened for the "Big Dog" till now. WWE has always been looking to push Roman to the top and this might be the correct time to pull the trigger.
