The Rock and The Undertaker are two of the biggest stars in the history of WWE. However, as was the case with Steve Austin and Bret Hart, The Rock mostly contested championship matches.

Meanwhile, The Phenom is one of those stars that didn't last long in the title picture. Thus, The Rock and The Deadman never crossed paths on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

The closest they came to having a WrestleMania match was in 2002. However, The Rock fought against Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker battled Ric Flair at WrestleMania that year.

#1. Hulk Hogan

When The Undertaker made his way to business, Hulk Hogan was the biggest star in the industry. It didn't take The Phenom much time to conquer The Hulkster as he defeated him for the WWF Championship the second year after his debut.

However, this match didn't transform into a full-fledged feud, and a WrestleMania buildup never came to life. Taker became a star from there on and built his streak but never fought Hogan at WrestleMania.

It can be argued that there would've been no streak had he faced Hulk Hogan at The Showcase of Immortals in the earlier stages of his career.
