Lars Sullivan made his main roster debut on the April 8, 2019 edition of Monday Night Raw, where he attacked WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle who retired at WrestleMania 35.

Following his debut on the roster, Sullivan was reportedly set to receive a monstrous heel push. However, he sustained a severe knee injury during a match on Raw involving the Lucha House Party, which halted the plans.

Although it was expected that WWE would continue to push him once he recovers from the injury, the controversies that Sullivan has been recently a part of has forced WWE to scrap those plans.

According to a report, these controversies have changed WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's vision of Sullivan.

Due to this, there are currently no plans on giving Sullivan a push when he returns, which should indicate what kind of direction they want to go in with him.

Nonetheless, Sullivan was expected to return to in-ring action within six to nine months. However, nine-months has passed, and there is no sign of him returning anytime soon.
