#1 Riddle wants to fight and retire Brock Lesnar

Riddle has been pushing to fight Brock Lesnar for years

Riddle has called out Brock Lesnar for years, but the WWE Universe is yet to see the two former UFC fighters interact in WWE.

If we are talking about dream matches, then this would be it. Riddle has continuously called out Lesnar, stating that he wants to retire him. If there was anyone able to accomplish such a considerable achievement, then Riddle is your man.

The dynamic of the feud would be excellent. Riddle as the mouthy, cocky and cool customer vs Lesnar’s take-no-bull attitude would be just as entertaining out of the ring as it would within it. Both have legitimate MMA fighting credentials, and if the two were to meet in the ring, we would most certainly be in for an interesting encounter.

Despite a match between the two fighters being a mouth-watering battle, it seems that Riddle's persistence to get Brock Lesnar in the ring got him into trouble. During an interview with TalkSPORT Riddle spoke about a confrontation with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar backstage at last year's Royal Rumble:

“Eventually, I find out I’m going to be in the Rumble. Now I’m stoked! I’m like ‘what if I get my chance!’ [with Brock Lesnar]."

Riddle's chance to finally meet the "Beast" in the ring was quickly dashed when Lesnar approached him before the match:

“Then, of course, Heyman and his security guard come up to me and basically told me I had no chance in hell – it was very Vince McMahon like – no chance in hell that I was going to get that match with him and I’d have better luck doing something else. And I’ll be honest, at first, I was just like awww, I got this far and you’re literally holding me like this. Like, he’s holding me like we’re friends but we’re not. And then he [Lesnar] tells me “it’s never going to happen.”

Since this altercation, Riddle made his main roster debut and has become a significant part of Monday Night RAW. Therefore, the chances of Riddle and Brock Lesnar going one-on-one may have improved.
