Back in late 2018, Nia Jax accidentally punched Becky Lynch for real on an episode of WWE RAW, leaving her with a bloodied face. The iconic image of Lynch looking down at the ring, with her face all crimson, was instrumental in her becoming a bigger star than she ever was. Jax failed to win the Women's Tag Team titles at WrestleMania, while Lynch won the main event and both the Women's titles.
After WrestleMania, Lynch got into a feud with Lacey Evans, and the two women exchanged some heated tweets during the buildup to their match. In one of her tweets, Becky brought up Nia and compared her to a toilet. This angered Jax to such a degree, that she posted an incredibly hateful tweet, shaming Lynch in the process. An irate Jax called Lynch a "moldy cabbage smelling ginger". The tweet received major backlash from fans, who called out Nia for shaming Lynch, with some of them accusing her of being a bully. Interestingly, Becky didn't respond to Nia and nothing came of it.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
