#2 Ricochet
WWE often gets criticized by the fans for not being the same as they were in the 1990s. While it’s not possible to completely change their product at this moment, since it isn’t that easy, there are still some things WWE could do. The 18-34 demographic brings a ton of money to WWE and if they fail to engage with them, then it would hurt them a lot. And that’s one of the reasons why Raw and SmackDown are proving edgier content to the fans.
The idea to push Ricochet is because Paul Heyman sees him as a wrestler who can appeal to the teenage audience (18-34 demographic) more than anyone else. At Raw Reunion, Ricochet was going to have a moment with DX but due to an injury, Seth Rollins had to take his place. It shows that Heyman trusts in Ricochet and believes that he is ready to become the next breakout star.
