#5 Daniel Bryan
In the past few weeks, we have seen many changes in WWE but none of them happened on SmackDown Live (or it did happen but we didn’t notice). Eric Bischoff is the executive director of SmackDown Live and it’s his duty now to provide the best content to the fans who are watching the show. Raw already has a ton of faces and heels but in this particular case, SmackDown lacks behind the red brand.
While the blue brand has many top babyfaces (Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston), the show still lacks a top heel Superstar. Yes, SmackDown Live has Shane McMahon but he may not be the right choice for that role. Shane is past his prime and the fans want to see someone else taking his spot. And Eric Bischoff has found a Superstar for that role.
“Daniel Bryan does great work in wrestling and in promos. Eric respects that. He wants to see a lot more of it. Bryan’s going up the card for sure.
“He’s (Bischoff) learned over the years that people with creative control are a problem. He doesn’t want to oversee Shane McMahon.”
