The former NXT Tag Team champions ditched manager Paul Ellering in April

The Authors of Pain were unable to regain the NXT Tag Team titles in their last two TakeOver matches earlier in 2018, losing on both occasions to The Undisputed Era, but they have since racked up a televised winning streak of four matches following their move to Raw in April’s Superstar Shake-Up.

Granted, it’s a little disappointing that we haven’t seen more of Akam and Rezar since their call-up to the main roster, but at least their victories over Heath Slater & Rhyno (x2), Francois & Jean-Paul and Titus Worldwide showed just how destructive they can be.
