After winning the Mae Young Classic in 2018, Toni Storm has established herself as one of the most successful female Superstars on any WWE brand by winning all four of her televised matches so far this year.

She began 2019 by defeating Rhea Ripley at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool for the NXT UK Women’s Championship, while she retained the title against the same opponent at the Worlds Collide taping over Royal Rumble weekend.
Since then, she has successfully defended the title against Jinny on NXT UK and against Bianca Belair and Nikki Cross in a Triple Threat match at another Worlds Collide taping over WrestleMania 35 weekend, and she is scheduled to face Nina Samuels on an upcoming episode of NXT UK.
Given that Storm has already built up support from WWE fans following her performances in the Mae Young Classic and at the Evolution event in 2018, it would not be at all surprising if she were to take on a similar role to Pete Dunne by appearing on both NXT UK and NXT at some point later in 2019.
