#1 Rhea Ripley
Given the fact that Charlotte Flair is defending her NXT Women’s Championship across all three brands, the line that divides the entire WWE roster into three parts appears to be a blur now. Therefore, it is not too far fetched to expect an NXT Superstar participating in this year’s Money in the Bank match.
If there’s one name in the Black and Gold brand that can prove to be an actual threat to the other participants at the upcoming pay-per-view, it is Rhea Ripley. Dubbed as the Breakout WWE Superstar of the year 2019, Ripley quickly rose through the ranks and established herself as a fierce competitor.
Will John Cena beat Ric Flair's record? A former WCW Champion thinks so HERE
She led her team to victory in the first-ever Women’s WarGames match, and then, she led the NXT Women’s team to victory over their RAW and SmackDown counterparts at Survivor Series.
She ended the year on a high note after winning the NXT Women’s Championship from Shayna Baszler, but her title reign was short-lived. Ripley lost her Championship to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36. This will be a perfect opportunity for her to get back a shot at regaining her title because if included in the match, Ripley will be looked at as a serious threat.
She is brutal inside the ring and deserves to be a part of good storylines. Hence, WWE must make full use of her hot run as a Single’s competitor before the hype around her starts to get stagnant.
Moreover, Charlotte won the Royal Rumble that ultimately helped her win the NXT gold. It would be almost poetic if Ripley wins MITB and goes on to cash-in on the Queen to take back her title.
