#2. Braun Strowman

WWE teased it but never went ahead

If you don't remember, let's have a refresher - It was Survivor Series 2017, and Braun Strowman was arguably the hottest star in WWE at the time. Despite losing his Universal Championship opportunity to Brock Lesnar at No Mercy two months earlier, he regained momentum with a face turn in October.

He was largely responsible for Team RAW's dominant victory in the main event, eliminating Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, and Randy Orton with ease before Triple H 'stole' the victory by eliminating the SmackDown captain Shane McMahon.

An infuriated Strowman choked Triple H, threatening him before powerslamming him and walking away. They teased a feud between the two which would have been exciting at the time.

Now that Braun Strowman is the Universal Champion, there's a possibility for Triple H to get another title shot down the line. Granted, Strowman is feuding with Bray Wyatt now, which would make the possibility of this confrontation unlikely. However, there are ways WWE could go about to tease a match for the future.
