Elias is one of the most popular Superstars in WWE right now, still, it is unlikely that he will feature in a marquee match at WrestleMania 36. He may take part in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal match, however, given how talented he is, it would be better if WWE gives him another role at the Showcase of Immortals.

Last year, he hosted a special concert at WrestleMania which was interrupted by John Cena who came out as the Doctor of Thuganomics. The 16-time WWE Champion defeated him in a war of words before laying him down with his signature move.

Elias has not been involved in a major feud on SmackDown after the WWE Draft, with the only noteworthy contribution being his support to Braun Strowman in his rivalry with the artistic trio of Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, and Cesaro.

If he is chosen as the host of WrestleMania 36, WWE can have him open the show with a special song where he would get the crowd going with a babyface promo for Tampa.

This way, he can gain some momentum heading into the new season, and the creative team could push him in the mid-card title picture.
