Wouldn’t this just be perfect? Of all the possible Paul Heyman Guys or Girls in a post-Brock Lesnar era, Asuka is one of the top Superstars who WWE should consider aligning with Heyman.
“The Empress of Tomorrow” is yet to be pinned or made to submit since her NXT debut in October 2015 and her undefeated streak has since carried over to Raw, where she debuted in October 2017 after relinquishing her NXT Women’s title.
Unlike other Superstars who speak limited English, the Japanese sensation has still managed to create a catchphrase for herself – “Nobody is ready for Asuka!” – but it wouldn’t exactly hurt to have someone by her side to hype her matches up for her.
That’s where Heyman, one of the best promoters we’ve ever seen, could come in to talk up her abilities, much like he does now with Lesnar, ahead of her high-profile pay-per-view battles.
