One of the genuine reasons why Sami Zayn could be the most likely mystery partner on tonight's Raw is because of his disappointing history with Bobby Lashley.

The former NXT Champion was unfortunately sidelined from action whilst he was already engaged in a very distressing battle with the current Intercontinental Champion.

Since Finn Balor would be willing to have someone on his side tonight, this would be an appropriate time for Zayn to return back to the squared circle as a white-meat babyface.

While Sami's heel run was terrific at times, there's no denying that Zayn can very well establish himself as one of the natural babyfaces in the entire wrestling industry.

A return here for Zayn could somehow bring an element of resuscitation back in the Intercontinental Championship picture and could lead Balor, Lashley, and Zayn to a blockbuster showdown at the Showcase of the Immortals.
