In preparation for the pay-per-view, WWE has announced that Rollins and Lynch will take on SmackDown Live duo Andrade and Zelina Vega in a tag team match on the same episode of Raw that will see Roman Reigns team up with a partner of Shane McMahon’s choosing.
Looking through the WWE roster, former Shield member Rollins is the obvious name who Reigns would choose if he could select his own partner, despite the fact that they are not involved in the same storyline right now.
Maybe, if “The Best In The World” wants to play some mind games before Extreme Rules, he could reveal Rollins as Reigns’ partner before having Corbin attack the Universal champion on his way to the ring.
That would allow Corbin to gain the upper hand ahead of the PPV, while McMahon and Drew McIntyre could take on “The Big Dog” in a handicap match.
