Will Mahal win the US title again?

A monster push after WrestleMania 33 led to Jinder Mahal winning the WWE Championship from Randy Orton. For no fault of his own, Mahal was on the receiving end of a lot of criticism for his title win. Average feuds in the aftermath of the title win only made matters worse for the Modern Day Maharaja. But it is because of this very reason that Mahal is now one of the most hated heels in the business, having some real heat from the fans.

While WWE may never go for a heel vs heel feud, this one may prove to be an integral step in Andrade's face turn and eventual World Championship pursuit. Mahal, on the other hand, has always proved to be one of the best mid-card talents, and if booked well, can be used to put over many up-and-coming talents. This feud may be postponed a bit though, if WWE decides to play on 3MB's history and have Mahal challenge McIntyre for the latter's WWE Championship.
