Return of the Face of America?

WWE hinted at Kevin Owens entering the US title picture, back when he helped the Street Profits by laying out the then US champion AJ Styles with a Stunner. However, that feud never materialized, and Owens was soon busy with Seth Rollins. After finally getting rid of Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36, Owens (in a vignette) claimed to make RAW the Kevin Owens show again. Will winning the US title be the first step in that direction?

As already mentioned before, Andrade losing the title should ideally lead to him entering the World title picture. After Andrade's relatively long reign with the title, having a fan-favorite as the champion can certainly reboot the US title scenario. AJ Styles can return to feud with Owens over the title, and given how their rivalry in 2017 elevated the title, we can be nothing less than excited for it. Owens winning the title also opens up the title picture for heels like Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin, and Murphy (when he returns). We may also see the return of the Face of America gimmick of Owens, but this time as a face.
